Satisfied customers at Nestlé in Portugal
This summer, Thermod delivered 10 ThermoBac doors to Nestlé's plant in Avenca, Portugal. We have now received another order from Nestlé in Portugal. This time 25 interior doors in ThermoBac version.
Nestlé is the world's largest food and beverage company and owns over 2,000 different brands in 189 countries. The company's operations in Portugal are doing well with income increasing by 2.9% to €486 million in 2017. The purchase of our hygiene doors is part of a €40 million investment in the two run-down factories in Avenca and Porto. The factory in Avenca is Nestlé's largest factory in Portugal. The factory produces dairy products, breakfast cereals and gruel.
Nestlé in Portugal has been pleased with us as a reliable supplier. This was our second order to the same plant and the factory in Avenca will now be equipped with the same 35 doors from Thermod.
Thermod’s ThermoBac doors are perfectly equipped for food environments. The antibacterial properties of ThermoBac doors kill 99.9% of all bacteria that come into contact with the door and door frame thanks to silver ions. The silver ions are active 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and cannot be washed off. ThermoBac doors are also suitable for hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, and animal hospitals.
