Fiberglass doors for Lerøy Seafood
Lerøy Seafood Group is one of the world's leading seafood producers. The company - and its nearly 5,000 employees - capture, process and distribute seafood to stores, restaurants, dining halls and hotels in over 80 countries.
Lerøy Midt Belsvik produces smolt - small fish - which are used in the Group's other branches. The facility, which is headquartered in Heims Municipality along the west coast of Norway, is now investing in new facilities to increase its capacity. Fully developed, the new factory will measure approximately 15,000 square meters and be available from a production volume of 1,100 tonnes to over 6,000 tonnes.
Through the main contractor Stjern Entreprenør AS, Thermod has been entrusted with supplying the new factory with fiberglass doors. In total, there are 35 doors divided into fire doors (EI₁30 Sa S₂₀₀), hygiene doors and wet / hygiene doors ID.

It is in these environments that the properties and strengths of the fiberglass door come in handy. The doors were delivered in early October and installation is in progress.
