Doors to the new GoCo Active in Gothenburg
With public health in focus, Henrik Lundqvist invests in a billion-dollar investment with help from GoCo Health Innovation City. The last few years, GoCo Health Innovation City har grown and want to promote the next generation within health and physical exercise. The total area will be about just as big as 30 football fields where amongst others private and public companies will be located as well as research within 50 different areas.
In the end of 2023, the building of GoCo Active in Mölndal, Gothenburg is initiated. A gigantic investment with focus on physical and mental health where business and research meets. GoCo Active will be established on the area where they meet the problem with the Swedish public health together with amongst others Chalmers Institute of Technology, Gothenburg University and Sahlgrenska Academy. The purpose is to find solutions in today’s health challenges such as performance, recovery, research and education.
For this project, Thermod has been trusted to deliver a number of fiberglass doors to the area’s new rooms. Amongst others hermetic sliding doors H44 and sluice doors for the operation rooms.
The construction is expected to be ready after the summer 2025.
