Wet room doors to Åkeshov in Stockholm City
The City of Stockholm has developed and renovated Åkeshov's swimming and sports hall in Bromma into a modern, functional, and accessible sports facility. The facility, which was completed in 2018, has two composite parts, each measuring approximately 5000 kvm.
The project included the redevelopment of several changing rooms where Thermod was entrusted with delivering the requested wet room doors. Fiberglass doors were considered a prerequisite for avoiding moisture damage because of wetness and regular cleaning. The doors are colored in green to get a connection to the surrounding nature.
