Wet room doors to the new Kristianstads Badrike
In the autumn of 2022, Kristianstads Badrike, a new, modern bathing facility at Näsby, next door to Kristianstad University, will be inaugurated. Thermod has been entrusted with delivering the wet room doors and hygiene doors for the project.
The new swimming facility, which has Peab as general contractor, will be built on two levels and will contain plenty of space for both swimming and recreation. The total building area measures almost 14,000 sqm.
The first floor include changing rooms and swimming pools for training and exercise swimming, but also separate pools for swimming, rehab and play. On the second floor, a relaxation area is built with sauna, treatment and massage as well as a large terrace with outdoor pool.
To meet the high hygiene requirements and regular exposure to water, chlorine and other chemicals, fiberglass doors have been prescribed for the wet parts of the facility. The doors will be placed around the pool parts but also in changing and shower areas.
