Doors for swimming facilities
Thermod's wet room door is specially adapted for swimming pools, shower areas and other spaces where the door is regularly exposed to moisture. The choice of materials makes it completely resistant to water, and construction without dirt-collecting joints makes the door easy to keep clean.
The door leaf consists of a durable fiberglass laminate with an edge profile made of aluminum and a core of polyurethane. The structure makes the door leaf light and easy to handle.
The door frame, also resistant to water, consists of natural anodized aluminum, or stainless steel. The frame is lining-forming for both sides of the wall which simplifies the installation. Frame, and lining are adapted for the wall where it is mounted. It can’t be simpler and better looking than this. We also offer lacquering of frames to achieve C4 class.
The range also includes hinges adapted for wet environments with C4 classification as well as hatches for inspection areas under the pool with a seal to minimize odors.
What to consider
- Given the corrosion risks, it is very important to know where in the swimming pool the door should be placed. The position determines which corrosivity class the door should correspond to.
- In pool areas, corrosivity class C4 applies. Powder coated aluminum frames are therefore used here, or powder-coated stainless steel frames. The hinges are stainless steel and powder coated.
